Dynamic and Balanced
The M-8S is a 2-way in-wall speaker with a high excursion 8" poly woofer and a 1" soft dome tweeter. This combination provides the utmost flexibility in terms of configuration and suitability to different types of audio tastes. In addition to smooth and natural vocals, the 8" woofer is capable of robust bass output, allowing the M-8S to be used without the need for a subwoofer in many applications. When a subwoofer is present, the bass capabilities of the M-8S ensure seamless integration at frequencies that smaller woofers simply can't reach.
Imaging and Clarity
The 1" soft dome tweeter provides abundant detail and clarity, generating solid and focused imaging for all sound sources in a spacious sound stage. Designed for a broadened listening sweet spot, the tweeter employs a diffuser to assist off-axis response as well as a pivoting mechanism to achieve proper aiming. Perfect integration between the tweeter and woofer is achieved through a 12dB crossover network with a compensation network. Once installed and setup, the M-8S projects a realistic sound stage with excellent resolution.
